The original yellowbird nestles in the heart of St. Paul’s Lex-Ham neighborhood. This shop opened right before the pandemic and we’ve been going strong ever since - thanks to our loyal customer base. This shop is “dog friendly” in the sense that we love dogs and welcome them in line, but they can’t sit down with you in the cafe…sorry about that - but we do have doggie treats!

The younger sibling of yellowbird, we opened this shop during the summer of 2024 in the Holland Arts East building. We partner with, collaborate with, and love love love our artists, neighbors, and friends in Northeast Minneapolis! This cafe is totally dog-friendly as much of the seating is in the adjacent art gallery - so bring your pups because we’ve got treats for them also!

Yellowbird Coffee Bar is a true collaborative effort that couldn’t have happened without so many friends, family, neighbors, and good people. When we first thought about opening a coffee bar in our neighborhood, we were overwhelmed by the extent everybody shared their support, talents, and enthusiasm with us, which propelled us to carry out our dream.
